In this episode, I’m digging into a question someone asked me recently: what is the hardest part about being blind? It’s not just one thing, and it’s usually not what people expect. I’m talking about the "digital walls" I hit with inaccessible websites and school apps, the awkwardness that happens in social situations when I can’t see body language, and why it's so frustrating when people ask someone else questions about me instead of just asking me directly. I'm sharing how I handle these barriers with determination, and why an inaccessible world doesn't mean my life is a tragedy.
