  • Persecution, Charlie Kirk, Speaking The Truth & Biblical Sexuality - Matt Romett - 9/28/25
    2025/09/29

    Acts 6, Leviticus 19 and Ephesians 4

In this episode Pastor Matt discusses recent national events including the assassination of Charlie Kirk, shares a personal story of smuggling Bibles in China, and calls the congregation to pray for and support the persecuted church worldwide.

We discuss the role of the church in society and clarify that separation of Church and State was put in place to keep the government from legislating a national religion not to guarantee a secular Government. The issues we are told to be silent about because they are political are actually social issues. The Bible gives us clear guidance around social issues and we should share that insight with the culture around us.

Speaking biblical truth isn't Hate Speech. Actually, it is hateful to not speak truth. Sin is the symptom of not knowing Jesus. We aren't called to point out symptoms, instead we should bring God's solutions into the culture around us.

The message ends by outlining a Biblical worldview on sexually and marriage.

*a few names were redacted in this message to protect fellow believers form additional persecution in their nation.
