Hey there, friend. I'm Julia Cartwright, and I'm so glad you're here. You know, it's early Wednesday morning, that in-between time when the world is still quiet but your mind might already be racing ahead to the day. Maybe you woke up with that familiar weight in your shoulders, or perhaps you're just craving a moment that's entirely yours before everything else demands your attention. Whatever brought you here, you made the right choice. Let's spend the next few minutes together, unwinding what's wound up inside you. Go ahead and find yourself in a comfortable seat. You don't need a special cushion or a perfect posture. Just somewhere that feels safe and supported. Let your shoulders drop away from your ears on their own time, no forcing. And take a gentle breath in through your nose, all the way down to your belly, then release it slowly through your mouth. One more time. In... and out. Beautiful. Now, I want to teach you something I call the wave technique, because relaxation isn't about becoming a statue. It's about becoming fluid. It's about moving tension out of your body the way water moves through a stream. Start by bringing your awareness to the top of your head. Notice if there's any tightness there, any holding. As you exhale, imagine that tension melting like ice cream on a summer sidewalk, dripping down the back of your neck. Breathe in fresh ease. Exhale, let it drip. Move that wave of awareness to your shoulders and chest. Feel the weight of everything you're carrying, everything you think you should be doing. As you breathe out, picture that heaviness flowing down like honey, slow and inevitable, down your arms and right out through your fingertips. In comes lightness. Out goes the weight. Continue this wave down through your belly, your hips, your thighs. Each exhale is a little release. Each inhale is permission to soften. By the time you reach your feet, you're not rigid anymore. You're liquid. You're flowing. Sit with this feeling for one more breath. Notice how different your body feels when you stop resisting it. Here's what I want you to carry into your day: you don't need an hour-long spa day to relax. You have the wave technique right there in your pocket. Two minutes at your desk, before a meeting, in your car. You're already equipped. Thank you so much for spending this time with me on Relaxation. If this landed for you, please subscribe so we can do this together again soon. You deserve this pause. Take care of yourself. For great deals today, check out https://amzn.to/47ZqpWT
