概要

October 1997. Luna's cousin Jess moves back to her late grandmother's farmhouse in Cutter's Grove, Illinois, a town with a water tower that hums even when empty. At first it's just the isolation, the static on the AM radio, the way the cornfields swallow sound. But then Jess notices the light patterns — a single window lit in the abandoned grain elevator across the road, always at 3:13 AM. She starts leaving notes on her porch for the person she imagines watching. Late one October night, she follows the invisible signal into the dark.
