Event: Keswick Building Services found human remains during 1969 renovation
- Jean Cooper found the 1971 logbook on the linoleum beside her at 5:15 a.m, on November 14, 2017.
- The logbook was a green-ruled ledger with a cracked spine and a water stain on the lower right corner.
- Columbus materials analysis dated the paper and pencil graphite consistent with early 1970s manufacture and found no evidence of forgery.
- Entries in the log were initialed N.V.; personnel records list Nancy Veld as a dispatch clerk at Vance Avenue from November 1969 to November 1971.
- A Keswick incident report from June 1969, found referenced in the 1971 entry, recorded that workers uncovered incompletely skeletal human remains in the east wall cavity during the renovation.
