What if the financial pressure you’re experiencing isn’t only about how much money you make—but about what God is trying to reveal, heal, and bring into order?

In this episode, Codie shares a personal testimony and teaching around one challenging question: Do your finances need deliverance?

Using Malachi 3:10–11 as a foundation, we look beyond simply asking God for increase and begin asking deeper questions about stewardship, obedience, integrity, debt, restitution, hidden patterns, and the places where our finances may need to come fully under the Lordship of Jesus.

Sometimes we are quick to identify what is being taken from us while overlooking what God may be asking us to make right ourselves. Through a powerful personal testimony, Codie shares how the Holy Spirit exposed an area where she had failed to follow through on a financial commitment—and how repentance, obedience, and making it right became part of bringing greater freedom and order to her finances.

    This episode explores:

    • What it means for God to “rebuke the devourer” in Malachi 3
    • Recognizing patterns of financial loss, theft, and poor stewardship
    • Allowing the Holy Spirit to examine our financial decisions
    • Keeping our word and making restitution when necessary
    • The difference between blaming spiritual warfare and taking personal responsibility
    • Learning contentment in seasons of both lack and abundance
    • Surrendering every part of our resources to God
    • Asking God what obedience and generosity look like in your current season

Financial freedom isn’t simply about having more—it’s about allowing God to bring healing, discipline, wisdom, integrity, and proper stewardship into what He has already placed in your hands.

This episode ends with prayer for God to expose unhealthy financial patterns, bring conviction where change is needed, restore wisdom and discernment, and teach His people how to faithfully steward resources for the advancement of His Kingdom.

The question isn’t only, “God, will You increase my finances?”

    Maybe the deeper prayer is:

“Lord, show me where my finances need healing, deliverance, and surrender.”

  • There Was a Demon in My House—and I Didn’t Let It In

What if the thing stealing your peace didn’t come through the front door?

In this episode of The Warrior Bun Podcast, Codie shares a personal testimony of a week when something suddenly felt spiritually “off” in her home—and how the Holy Spirit used prayer, discernment, and simple obedience to lead her to the source.

Using John 10:1 as the foundation, Codie explores Jesus’ warning about the thief who doesn’t enter through the door but climbs in another way. She challenges believers to consider the places where compromise, distraction, or seemingly insignificant things may be affecting their spiritual sensitivity.

This conversation is about more than cleaning out a house. It’s about learning to steward your heart, your home, and your relationship with the Holy Spirit—while growing in discernment without becoming consumed with fear of the enemy.

    In this episode:

    • Recognizing when something simply isn’t normal
    • Learning how the Holy Spirit develops discernment
    • Why holiness and discernment are connected
    • The danger of dismissing “little” compromises
    • Understanding John 10:1 and the thief who enters another way
    • Following the Holy Spirit through detailed obedience
    • Examining what we depend on for comfort, identity, peace, and emotional support
    • Asking God to expose what has been hiding in plain sight

The goal isn’t to become afraid of everything around you. The goal is to become so familiar with Jesus, His Word, and the voice of the Holy Spirit that when something doesn’t belong, you recognize it.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber.” — John 10:1

Are you walking in your purpose—or have you overlooked the purpose God has already placed right in front of you?

In this episode, Codie speaks directly to wives, mothers, mothers-to-be, and women who may be wrestling with the feeling that they aren’t “doing enough” for God. In a generation that celebrates movement, platforms, ministry titles, and visible impact, it can be easy to mistake stillness for idleness and the hidden place for a lack of purpose.

But what if God isn’t holding you back? What if He’s preparing you?

From pregnancy and motherhood to cooking dinner, folding laundry, serving your family, and stewarding the atmosphere of your home, this episode challenges women to recognize the Kingdom significance of what can easily feel mundane. Your home can be a place of ministry. Your children are disciples you’ve been entrusted to raise. Your marriage is worth stewarding. And the quiet seasons at the feet of Jesus may be where God gives you the extra oil you’ll need for what comes next.

Before asking, “What is my purpose in the nations?” perhaps we first need to ask:

Am I embracing the purpose God has already entrusted to me at home?

It may feel hidden. It may feel ordinary. But it is not insignificant.

🎧 Listen to this week’s episode of The Warrior Bun and be challenged to rediscover the sacred purpose in the everyday.
