    The Nature of Manifestations in Deliverance
    2026/02/11

    In this episode, Codie takes listeners into the often-misunderstood reality of demonic manifestations during deliverance. Drawing from Nahum 1:5 and Jesus’ ministry in the Gospels, she explains why the presence of God provokes a reaction from darkness — not to humiliate the person, but because a lesser power is being overthrown by a greater One. Codie clarifies that God does not delight in spectacle or shame, and that violent manifestations are not demons “taking advantage,” but the body responding to the clash between unclean resistance and divine authority. With compassion and training insight, she outlines how deliverance ministers can carry both authority and dignity in these moments, and reminds us that deliverance is not about the drama of shaking, but about the peace that follows. Demons convulse when leaving, but the person rests once they are free — because the same God who makes mountains tremble still makes demons tremble today.
