The Underflow Podcast – Episode 15 – Sophocles Sapounas – Balancing Pragmatism & Optimism with Sophocles Sapounas, author of the "Not Alone" graphic novel series, singer-songwriter of the Detroit punk rock trio Jeb Busch Lite, and founder of Earth Team One eco-friendly skateboarding. Soph and Adam founded WhateverFest together in 2010 as an underground independent arts and music festival in Detroit while undergrads at Wayne State University. After graduating WSU both left Detroit, Soph to Berlin and his native Greece, Adam to graduate work with Cambridge University in Edinburgh, the Jack Kerouac School of Naropa University, and California. In this conversation the two old friends catch up current events and the importance of staying creative, active, and hopeful as we fight for our future.
