In this episode, we dive into the topic of offense and how easily it can take root in our hearts if left unchecked. We discuss some of the possible roots of offense, how to recognize when you’re holding onto it, and why forgiveness is essential to our walk with Christ.
We also talk about how forgiveness is first a choice, but not one we can make in our own strength. We need the help of the Holy Spirit to truly forgive, especially when the hurt is deep or an apology never comes.
Most importantly, we reflect on why we’re called to forgive when we understand the depth of what Jesus has forgiven us. Our prayer is that this conversation encourages you to let go of offense and walk in the freedom that Christ has for you.
