- At 8:44:44 PM on February 8, Crystal's phone pinged a cell tower covering the Route 7 corridor about three miles northeast of the community center.
- Crystal's Subaru was found the next morning in her driveway with a cold engine, doors locked, and the driver's seat set for 5'3" height.
- A fuel check showed the tank lost enough fuel to account for 18 to 22 miles of driving between February 6 and the morning of February 9.
- In spring 2001, evidence bag contained a scrap of dark fabric, a woman's shoe with no laces, and a partial boot-print cast found near the tree line at Mile Marker 31.
