The Teide family spent Christmas together at their cabin just outside Oakley, UT. They were a close-knit bunch—after all, who else would you choose to spend the holidays with if not people you actually like? While most of the family was still traveling, Rolf Teide, his wife, their two daughters, and Mrs. Teide’s mom had flown in early from Texas to get things ready. The girls headed to Salt Lake City for some shopping, and Rolf went out as well. What they couldn’t have known was that two recently released convicts would break into their cabin, bringing unimaginable tragedy to the entire family.
