In my youth, I thought I needed to be successful to be deserving of love. I aspired to sit on a kingly seat and climb the summit of my dreams. But in time, I learned that God loves me for who I am. Because He made me perfect in his image. I praise Him because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. And in His love, I find my full acceptance. 2 Corinthians 4:18 says, "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." When we find ourselves in times of hardship, we must first fix our eyes on heaven. To where our hope lies. To where our Father lives and from where His love flows.
