Hi friends! Welcome to the Table where we get to sit together around God's table and be reminded of who He is and who we are because of what He has accomplished on the cross. His Grace is sufficient for us - ALL of us! My name is Sophie Kirk, and it is a joy to share the truth of God's word with you each Wednesday! I pray that you find rest, joy, and LIFE in Jesus either for the first time or in a whole new way.

Today's podcast is all about surrender. Did you know that you were made for surrender? Our world paints surrender as weakness, as giving up, or as failing, but, in the Kingdom of God, surrender is actually where LIFE is found. Our humble King lived this surrendered life perfectly for us so that we could walk in His ways after Him. Jesus helps us understand this surrender in Matthew 16:24-26. Let's come sit at the Table of Grace together and surrender to our humble King to find LIFE - ABUNDANT LIFE!

Friends, our lives are busy and tend to keep us from seeing God, from spotting His faithfulness, and from resting in His love and grace for us. Our God desires us to know Him, rest in Him, and receive His love and grace each and everyday. So, not only did God send His Son to bring us back into relationship with Him and save us from our sin, but He also created the world around us to remind us of His presence, His love, and His faithfulness. Join me in seeing God's glory in the mundane. May we not let a day go by where we miss the presence of God in our lives because the veil has been torn, and we can now commune with Him. This podcast is in honor of my precious, beloved Papa who passed away this year. I never knew someone more filled with the Love of God, and he really taught all of us to see God through creation and to be reminded of God's deep love for us every time we would encounter different parts of creation which I will share more specifically in this podcast. Oh do I miss him, but I know he is worshiping before our Maker in God's FULL GLORY even now, "How good can it get?"!! Let's come and sit at the Table of Grace together as we behold the Glory of our God in the mundane today!

Friends, God has given us amazing truth in John 15 from the mouth of Jesus! We are the branch and that is a gift because we have a vine to abide in. Let us unpack what it looks like to be the branch. Let us understand how being the branch is a gift. Let us discover why resting in the vine is where life is found. We serve an amazing God who does not leave us to be the Lord of our own lives. Our Father sent His Son to give His life so that He could be the LORD of your life and mine! Let's come and sit at the Table of Grace together as we rest in the Vine today!

Did you know that you were actually made to be satisfied? Now, this satisfaction is probably not what is coming to your mind. We were not made to be satisfied by the standards of the world. Oh no, we were made to be satisfied in a much deeper and much more eternal way. Join me as we dive into God's word to more deeply understand this Kingdom satisfaction. What is the satisfaction that we are made for, how do we receive the gift of this satisfaction, and how do we live as satisfied children of God? We will dive into Matthew 5:6 as well as Philippians 4:19 to help us grow in understanding! Let's come and sit at the Table of Grace together as we rest in the satisfaction of our King!

Hi, my name is Sophie Kirk, and I am the host of this podcast! In this first episode, I am seeking to introduce myself, provide background to why I am starting this podcast, and giving encouragement about walking with Jesus through the ups and downs of life. This podcast provides us with sweet truths of our Sonship and Daughtership through King Jesus, and it reminds us of our place at the Table of Grace not because of something we have done but because we have been invited by our Savior King. I pray you are encouraged, spurred on to follow Jesus, and are reminded of God's deep and everlasting love for you!! We will be reading Romans 8:15-17! Be encouraged today!
