The Table is a space for honest conversations about faith, life, and the moments that shape us. Hosted by Joshua Bass, this podcast invites you to slow down, breathe, and pull up a seat as we talk about what God is teaching us in real time — through Scripture, through everyday experiences, and through the parts of life we don’t always say out loud. Whether you’re wrestling with calling, walking through change, or learning to trust God in a new season, The Table is a place where you’re welcome, your questions matter, and you’re not alone. No performances. No pretending. Just real life and a GoJoshua Bass キリスト教 スピリチュアリティ 聖職・福音主義

  • How Do We Know Anything?
    2026/05/08

    We weren’t there.

We didn’t see Jesus teach, stand at the cross, or walk into the empty tomb. So how can we trust something that happened 2,000 years ago?

In the first episode of The Man History Won’t Ignore, we’re slowing down and asking a foundational question before we even get to the Gospels:

How do we know anything from history at all?

We’ll talk about evidence, testimony, doubt, and the real objections people bring to Christianity: “Was the Bible written too late?” “Has it been changed?” “Did the disciples make it up?” “Are miracles even possible?”

This episode doesn’t try to prove everything. It simply puts the questions on the table and starts the journey.

Pull up a chair. We’ll keep going.

  • CHAMELEON — Part 3: You Are God’s Ambassador
    2026/02/02

Whether you realize it or not, your life is always pointing somewhere.

In Part 3 of Chameleon, we talk about representation—what it means to live in the world while belonging to something bigger than yourself. Sitting in 2 Corinthians 5, we slow down and unpack the Bible’s language of reconciliation and ambassadorship, and why followers of Jesus are described as people through whom God makes His appeal.

This episode isn’t about pressure or performance. It’s about presence—how the way we love, forgive, and show up in ordinary spaces tells a story long before we ever use words.

What do people experience when they experience you?
What story is your life telling?

    Pull up a chair.
We’ll see you at the table.

  • CHAMELEON — Part 2: You Are Chosen
    2026/01/26

What if your identity isn’t something you have to earn?

In Part 2 of Chameleon, we slow down and talk about the quiet fear a lot of us carry: that we’re overlooked, unwanted, or only valuable when we perform. Using 1 Peter 2:9–12, we unpack what it means when the Bible says you’re “chosen” and “God’s own possession”—and why that identity comes before purpose, before “trying harder,” and before you have everything figured out.

We’ll also look at a story of radical change in Acts 9 and sit with the question:
What would shift in your life if you actually believed you were wanted?

Pull up a chair. We’ll see you at the table.
