Old Forester 1897 Manhattan Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Old Forester 1897 Bourbon
- 1 oz sweet vermouth
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Ice
- Maraschino cherry (for garnish)
- Orange twist (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Chill the Glass: Start by chilling a cocktail glass by filling it with ice water. Set aside.
- Mix the Ingredients: In a mixing glass, combine the Old Forester 1897 Bourbon, sweet vermouth, and Angostura bitters.
- Add Ice: Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir well for about 30 seconds until the mixture is well chilled.
- Strain: Dump the ice water from your cocktail glass and strain the mixture into the chilled glass.
- Garnish: Garnish with a maraschino cherry and an orange twist.
