    This week was another bad one for teams at the top, unless you play in yellow, that is, with three of the top four dropping points and the leaders Racing Santander having their lead at the top cut from 4 to 3 points. The queue to join the party is closer than ever with just 3 points now separating 3rd position and 9th position in the division. There were late festive gifts, with 6 of the games being decided in the last 15 minutes including 3 games being decided after the 88th minute. Meanwhile it was a fantastic week for Segunda sides in the Copa with 5 through to the next round and Granada still to play in the new year.     This week we saw multiple changes and multiple cup disasters for Segunda sides, another Segunda coach lost his job, it was home sour home as at the time of recording we have seen NO Home wins in any of the 11 Segunda games of the MD Racing Santander went outright top with a stunning remontada and CD Castellon showed us they are here to stay with a statement win in Riazor. In Part 2 we cover Racing's remontada against Cadiz, the lack of home wins and the trouble it causes for Real Sociedad B and Eibar as well as the bizarre managerial situations at a number of clubs currently.     This weekend in Segunda the automatic promotion chasers at the top separated out a little, for now at least, as two won and two dropped points. CD Castellon and Ceuta have catapulted themselves into top 6 contention with a string of results, whilst down the bottom, 9 points adrift just a few weeks ago, Real Zaragoza are now just 3 from safety following 3 wins in a row. We aim to pack as much of that into the two main shows this week. In part 2 we will be focussing thing going well at Real Zaragoza, but red cards and more misery for Paco Lopez’s Leganes, the Funes revolution continues at Malaga, Granada are on the march, Mirandes picking up a crucial 3 points in a relegation 6 pointer vs Real Soc B, and Cadiz finally break out of their slump to win in Cordoba. ---------- Why wait until Thursday?
