There’s something powerful about a symphony before the music ever starts. The musicians are in place. The instruments are being prepared. The audience is waiting. And even before one note is played, something meaningful is already happening.
It made me think about how often we only recognize life, purpose, or beauty once we can hear it or see it clearly. But God is often at work long before the “first note” reaches us. Before the sound, before the evidence, before the moment we can point to and say, “There it is,” He is already forming, preparing, and holding it all together.
Maybe today is a reminder to pay attention to the quiet beginnings. The things God is shaping may not always be loud yet, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t alive with purpose.
Scripture (NIV): Psalm 139:13 — “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.”
Reflection Questions:Where might God be working before I can clearly see the outcome?Do I sometimes wait for visible proof before trusting that God is present? What quiet beginning in my life needs more patience, care, or prayer today?
