In this episode, I discuss whether or not the person with avoidant attachment (who left you, ghosted you, cheated on you, etc) will come back and try and repent, and what to do when and if they do.

I also discuss reasons why people may stay in such toxic relationships, such as addiction to drama, financial greed, psychological codependency, an ego boost that no matter how often someone cheats they come back, etc.

The real question is - when the avoidant ex comes back, why would you even want them? Why do you feel compelled to give them a chance? Why do you have such low expectations for your life and the people in it? If you have a hard time extracting yourself from so much drama, there is likely a psychological reason that YOU are addicted/compelled to this push/pull cycle.

So, yes, to some extent our vibe attracts our tribe, AND - when we are in a space of light, authenticity, and integrity especially - our light and radiance will attract absolutely everyone, including predators, cheaters, liars, and sketchy people looking to take advantage of our good energy.

Just like your porch light on a hot summer night, your light will attract ALL THE BUGS, both the beautiful ones and the dangerous ones.

In this episode of The Secrets of a Witch Podcast, I share a real story about receiving a mediumship message from my great grandmother, and asking my Saint to intervene and reveal the truth of a situation, confirming the mediumship message from nearly a month prior - a message which, at first, seemed a little farfetched to me. Spiritual intervention, help, and spirits revealing the truth is absolutely available to you, all you need to do is ASK.

Do not be afraid to ask to see the truth of a situation. It can be scary to face the music and to see reality for what it is. Your ancestors and spiritual team will often allow you to make your own mistakes and learn your own lessons, but their help and intervention is there for you when you are ready for it and if you feel you need or want it.

Your spiritual team has your back. The spirits SEE ALL. They are there to help and support you, when and if you ask and are ready to receive their intervention and messages.

Your spiritual team will have access to the sketchy behaviour of other people. Ask them, if you're ready. No one can hide from the spiritual world. It's so important to live in truth, even if it's not what you wished was true.

In this episode, I talk about how surprise endings, break ups, job loss, etc - any big unexpected change - can be absolutely amazing, a gift, and the universe redirecting us to something better.

It's possible to redirect our mindset out of misery and sadness, into celebration and opening. With surprise endings, one door is closed for us, and one million additional doors open. How miraculous is that?

Sometimes, feeling better and being excited about the future is as easy as deciding to change our own mind and our own thoughts. Say no to negative self-talk, say no to projecting negativity and awfulness into the future. Assume the best is yet to come. Life is happening FOR you, NOT to you. Assume this has been removed from your path because there is something better out there for your future .

The universe has your back - believe it, claim it, live it. You can do this! Get excited about what's next.

The Devil card in tarot shows us where we are harming ourselves, and where we are stuck in maladaptive and unhealthy loops, often tied to trauma, addiction, shame, and impulsiveness.

The Devil can also hint at dark and spicy elements of life, such as polyamory, kink, and things of that nature - though, unless otherwise indicated in the position the card is pulled in the reading, The Devil often does reference excess, lack of control, and being impulsive and intensity in ways that hurt/harm us.

The Devil is about patterns and bad vibes - unfortunately including secrets, abuse, addictions, shopping addiction, sex addiction, overspending, gambling, avoidance, cheating, manipulation, and more.

Do not ignore The Devil when this card comes up! It's a big deal. However you relate to The Devil, you can heal and work through it.

Today on the podcast, we get into the tarot! The seven of swords is one of the most important cards to pay attention to when we are getting a tarot reading, or reading tarot for ourselves. The seven of swords reveals that there is someone who cannot be trusted.

The seven of swords is a sign that there is some dishonesty in the mix. Lying, omitting information, hiding, withholding, cheating (sexually, on finances, emotionally, etc) - all of these sketchy behaviours can be present when we pull the seven of swords.

It's an important card; when it comes up, it brings a very serious message. Ignore the message of the seven of swords at your own risk and your own peril - somebody is lying to you, or hiding something from you.

In this episode of the Secrets of a Witch Podcast, I talk about the importance of reading cards and connecting with spirit all the time - even and especially when we aren't in crisis or dealing with any bad surprises. When we read tarot cards and touch in spiritually even when we have 'no reason' to, we can get a heads up when things are about to nosedive or turn sour, and prepare ourselves for the downturn.

I also talk about how healthy, empowered feminine energy quickly reveals what is in a man - so we don't get dragged along in multi-year long relationships with avoidant, emotionally unavailable men. When we occupy a space of healed, healthy, anchored feminine energy (balanced with masculine energy), it tends to trigger and reveal the unhealthiness/toxicity in men. (Apologies to men listening to this, LOL - switch up the language to get something out of what I'm saying!)

I also give some suggestions of what kinds of questions to ask your cards when you want to reveal what is currently hidden and unavailable to you.

Tarot can absolutely be predictive - it's okay to work with it to show us what we don't see, and what may reveal itself in our future, if there's no intervention.
