I keep meeting people who have stopped making decisions about their money.

Not because they don't care — because something might change, and waiting

feels like the sensible thing to do.

This is how to decide anyway.

I'm not going to pretend I know what any government, market or economy is

about to do next. I don't. What I can give you is a way of making decisions

that doesn't need you to predict all of that correctly first — and a

reminder that waiting isn't free either. Indecision is still a decision.

In this episode: why fear turns into a decision before you've noticed it

happening, the difference between "the facts changed" and "I'm frightened

they might," what a landlord survey can actually tell you about acting

under uncertainty, and the question that tells you how much proof you

should need before you act. The fourth of five questions is the one that

actually changes what people do.

I'm clear about the limit of all this too. It won't stop governments

changing rules or markets falling, and I'm not pretending you control what

you don't.

If you've got about seventeen things that feel messy right now and no idea

which to deal with first, I built something free for that — the Freedom

Leak Map. It walks you through the four places freedom leaks out of a

life — money, time, energy and opportunity — and helps you pick one thing

to fix first.
