In this episode, host Dr. Roy Ziegelstein is joined by globally renowned expert, Dr. Steven Lin, for a conversation about how AI is impacting clinical practice. Steve is a practicing family physician, a Clinical Professor of Medicine and Chief of General Primary Care at Stanford University School of Medicine, and the Founding Director of the Stanford Healthcare AI Applied Research Team. Together, Roy and Steve discuss the role of physicians before AI, the role of physicians with AI, as well as AI and trust. In the episode, Roy continues the theme of AI, sharing recent research about how it's being used by physicians and other clinicians, warnings about the potential for misdiagnosis and overuse, the public perception of AI and its impact on patient trust.
