Hop in the Jeep and ride shotgun with Paul (not Rudd) down Rodeo via LaBrea to bypass Highland through the canyon on the way to South Santa Monica (all within 20 mins of the other in any direction) and listen to him yap to someone on his cell about "Clueless," (dir. Amy Heckerling 1995). The movie that made Dan Hedaya make stars out of Alicia Silverstone and Paul Rudd had a 30th Anniversary (NOT STEELBOOK), that Paul (still not Rudd) just like totally HAD to goss with you about ASAP.

  • Boogie Nights / Bhill Knyge The Apple Guy (Guest: Sam Bullington)

For our first foray into the world of PTA, returning guest: Sam Bullington (Waching Mr. Pearson) presents to you, and himself "Boogie Nights" (1997 dir. Paul Thomas Anderson) Starring: Mark Wahlberg, Julianne Moore, and Burt Reynolds. OK, pump the brakes, before we start...this is a commentary about predatory practices in the entertainment industry as a whole (What? No!)?! We go deep on the real life ramifications of the joys of drug use, putting various acts on tape(s), the explosion of popularity of VHS cassette itself, and the ones we watched at school. Also, how big does the needle have to be for all these drops; 16, 17 inches? Listen now! For your health!

Also with Sam: Grand Budapest Hotel

Guest Mark Barton, no, Mort Bergstrom…NO! MATT BARROW! returns with his choice “Orange County,” (2002 d. Kasdan). Starring: Colin Hanks, Jack Black, and Catherine O’ Hara (RIP). We examine this film text more closely than high school counselor/self-defense expert (justified) Lily Tomlin does an official transcript. We ask existential questions like “is your name, Matt?” “What About Bob?” And Paul’s live, pre-recorded apology, for the most egregious error in the history of podcasting. Watch ya fingers 5/12!

Everybody, freeze! Cause Ben and Paul are talking about listener pick, "Demolition Man," (d. Brambilla 1993) with another listener pick, our Guest: Matthew Fosket! This futurist/fascist film stars Sylvester Stallone, Wesley Snipes, and Sandra Bullock. We drop some of the best "Late Night Tubi's," rehash Stallone v. Schwarzenegger, and break open some serious scientific questions. After our through rigorous testing, countless research hours, visual enhancement, map/terrain comparisons, and side by side analyzation...well, those are balls. We couldn't figure out the 3 seashell thing. 4/28!

In this special episode, we ditch the dead weight (Ben & Paul) for Guest Hosts Jessica Erin Martin & Shannon Corbeil to take the reins for their mutual choice "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken," (1991 Dir. Steve Miner - Friday the 13th pts. 2 & 3, Halloween H20, Warlock...wait, what?). This one goes into the deep end on age differences, horse diving vs. horse dancing, based on a true story vs. the true story, era appropriate (timeless) riding attire, and the horrific truth about "Milo & Otis," is revealed yet again. All this, and more "horse girl movie," (Jessica Erin Martin) adventure 4/14!

...to a decision, about this movie, after much debate. Paul's choice on a coin flip "They Came Together," (2014 d. David Wain) Starring: Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, and NEW YORK CITY. We're ending "March Movie Madness," on a high note (Paul literally) with this wild, zany, AND EXCEPTIONALLY HUMAN despite Paul's dumb dumb crap (tell me about it), spoof of the Rom-Com. Especially T. Hanks movies. Hey, thanks for reading. Wait. Wait a second. Thanks. Hang on...thaaaaannnnnkksssss. 3/31!

  • Best In Show / Groupon Colonic? (Guest: Sara Coates)
    2026/03/17

    Message us ANONYMOUSLY

Actor Sara Coates has returned for our all comedy “March Movie Madness,” and is ready to harshly judge her own choice "Best In Show," (2000 d. Christopher Guest) Starring: Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara (RIP), and Christopher Guest himself. There's certainly a human illuminati, but could there be a dog illuminati? Could we be a part of both? These ponderings, kids rockin' costumes, elite junk food, statements on children's programming ("Bluey" & "Puffin Rock") and the majesty of the one and only Catherine O'Hara. All that and somehow, someway, EVEN MORE in this episode. LUCKY YOU! 3/17!

Join us on the couch to tip off “March Movie Madness,” comedy month with Restaurateur Mychal Dynes (Little Conejo), who is scheduled between 12a-12p, to discuss his pick "The Cable Guy," (1996 d. Stiller). Let's be honest, we've all been "The Cable Guy," a little bit, no? Wanting to be pals a little TOO much? Calling a little TOO often? Sharing a little TOO deeply? Breaking backboards? Just Paul? Moving on...we know how you're feeling right now. We're here for you. Remember "Midnight Express?" Oliver Stone won the Academy Award for Best Screenplay. Awesome, Awesome scene. This concludes our broadcast day. Click! 3/3!
