We have now begun chapter 8 of Matthew. To start this episode we go back and review what all we have covered since beginning our study of Matthew back in January. After a brief review we begin to take a look at the beginnings of Jesus "Healing ministry". We cover over Jesus; healing the man with leprosy, the faith of the centurion, and when the crowds begin coming to Jesus to be healed, and several valuable lessons that we need to learn from these stories.

Well I thought we were going to finish "The Sermon on the Mount" in this lesson, Joke was on me! In this lesson we dive into Jesus teaching on "A Tree and its Fruit", warnings about false prophets and their teachings. A great deal of our emphasis in this lesson is knowing the Word of God, so that we know what false teaching is when we hear it.

We have finally made it through the "Sermon on the Mount"! In this lesson we wrap up chapter 7 with the "Wise and Foolish Builders." As Jesus wraps up this incredible message He gives very practical life advice that is very easy for "the common man" to understand and apply.

As we are nearing the end of the "Sermon on the Mount" we are seeing a bit of a transition that Jesus makes to wrap up these chapters. In this lesson we cover over Jesus teaching on "Ask, seek and knock", What Jesus is actually directing us to do, and how that really does affect which gate we enter, "The Narrow or the Wide Gate".

We have made it to chapter 7! In this lesson we take a look at what Jesus says about judging others in the "Sermon on the Mount", and what He doesn't say about it.

In this episode we take a look at the passage of the "Sermon on the Mount" where Jesus talks about worry. This is not an easy one to talk about. We talk about a lot of different aspects of worry, of what it can do to us physically, mentally, and spiritually. Most importantly how we are commanded in scripture to handle worry/anxiety in our lives.
