    Will You Run to the Roar? Everything You Want… Is on the Other Side of Fear. Coach Jim Stroker introduces “The R Zone,” the space between stimulus and response, framed by the idea that the events outside your control PLUS your RESPONSE determine outcomes (E+R=O). He reflects on his high school coaching influence and shares a story from the night when his son Jake was in a coma and his daughter Ali was paralyzed on life support. While taking his two dogs, Cindy and Whitey, out at 5:10 AM, they encounter a loose German Shepherd; Cindy flees, Jim freezes, and the 14-pound terrier Whitey charges, fights, and drives the threat away despite being injured.
