  • Dr. Catherine Knibbs on the Causes and Effects of Cybertrauma
    2026/08/02

In this episode of The Quantum Feedback Loop Podcast, we speak with Dr. Catherine Knibbs, a cyberpsychologist, researcher, author, and online harms consultant specializing in children's experiences with technology.

Catherine's interdisciplinary work brings together child development, trauma, cybersecurity, data protection, gaming, social media, and online safety. Her research has examined cybertrauma and children's exposure to violent, graphic, and age-inappropriate digital content, and she is the author of several books on children, technology, and online harms.

Listen to the full episode to learn more about Catherine's work at the intersection of technology, mental health, and child protection.

  • How the Asteroid Institute Defends Earth from Asteroids
    2026/08/02

In this episode of The Quantum Feedback Loop Podcast, we speak with Alec Koumjian and Joachim Moeyens, researchers from the B612 Foundation's Asteroid Institute, about the vital mission to protect Earth from potentially devastating asteroid strikes.

Alec shares, among many topics, the Institute's achievements since speaking with us over two years ago. Since then, the team has continued to build a suite of software and engineering applications for asteroid discovery, including visualization tools and open-source resources freely available for citizen scientists to calculate impact probabilities for known and recently discovered objects. Asteroid discovery is especially important following the success of NASA's 2022 DART mission that tested asteroid-deflection technology.

Joachim explains how the Institute is responsibly incorporating AI into their work, describing the innovative THOR algorithm and how new data from the Vera C. Rubin Observatory - currently in its pre-survey phase and already producing impressive results - is contributing to their research, among many other topics. Watch the full episode to learn about the THOR algorithm, public-access ADAM Platform, their "secret sauce," and much more!

  • Is Quantum Information the Fundamental Basis of Reality?
    2026/08/02

In this episode of The Quantum Feedback Loop Podcast, we speak with Dr. Florian Neukart about the Quantum Memory Matrix theory, quantum information, and one of the deepest questions in science and philosophy: could information be more fundamental than matter?

The Quantum Memory Matrix theory provides an intriguing perspective on how quantum information can be stored in and released from curvature in the fabric of spacetime. QMM also suggests that dark energy and dark matter, which together comprise 95% of the energy and mass of the universe, are opposite effects of the same thing.

Dr. Florian Neukart is the Chief Product Officer at Terra Quantum AG and a Professor of Quantum Computing at Leiden University.
