  • Beyond Appearances: How God Sees the Heart (and How We Can Too)
    2026/03/12

We live in a world full of images—perfect photos, curated posts, and the constant pressure to keep up appearances. But Scripture reminds us of something deeper: people see the appearance, but God looks into the heart (1 Samuel 16:7).

In this reflection, we explore how easy it is to get caught up in appearances—our own and other people’s—and how that can disconnect us from what’s really happening within us. When we slow down and listen to our thoughts and emotions, we may discover that they are places where God is already speaking.

Drawing on the Gospel story of the man born blind (John 9), this episode invites us to move beyond blame, assumptions, and surface-level judgments so we can begin to see as God sees.

What might God want to show you in your own heart today? And how might learning to share from the heart deepen your connection with others—and with God?

Take a moment to pause, reflect, and encounter the God who sees beyond appearances.

  • From Complaining to Contemplation: Finding Living Water When Faith Feels Dry
    2026/03/05

Have you ever wondered, “Is God even here?”

Come along in this reflection as we talk about spiritual dryness, disappointment, and the quiet seasons when God feels silent. Inspired by the Israelites in Exodus and Jesus’ encounter with the Samaritan woman in the Gospel of John, we explore the movement from complaining to contemplation — learning to take a “long, loving look at the real.”

What if our thirst, our questions, and even our frustration are invitations to deeper faith? What if hope is still possible — even here?

If you’re walking through a wilderness season, longing for living water, or trying to trust God in uncertain times, this reflection is for you.

  • Go Forth: The Call Beyond Comfort | 2nd Sunday of Lent Reflection
    2026/02/26

On this 2nd Sunday of Lent, we hear God’s words to Abram in Genesis: “Go forth.” Leave what is familiar. Step into the unknown. Trust the promise.

Abram makes it look simple. But if we’re honest, following God’s call rarely feels easy.

In this episode, we reflect on the tension between comfort and calling — the fear that comes with leaving what we know, and the grace that meets us when we do. From Abram’s journey to the mountaintop moment of the Transfiguration, we explore what it means to come down the mountain and step into real life, where faith becomes action and mercy becomes ordinary, daily work.

What might God be asking you to leave behind this Lent?

Where are you being invited to go forth — in your career, your relationships, your family, your community?

Going forth isn’t just about movement of the feet. It’s a posture of the heart. And wherever God sends us, God goes too.

Join us for this Lenten reflection on courage, trust, and the promise that we never walk alone.

  • What Are You Hungry for this Lent?
    2026/02/18

On the First Sunday of Lent, Sister Leslie is joined by Sisters Judy and Alice for a thoughtful Lenten reflection on the Gospel of Matthew and the Temptation of Jesus in the desert.

Together, they explore spiritual hunger, power, fasting, and what it means to be led by the Spirit — even into challenging places. Is Lent about giving something up, or is it an invitation to tenderness, trust, and deeper communion with God?

As you listen, consider the question at the heart of this episode: What are you truly hungry for?

Join this circle of faith sharing as we begin the journey toward Easter — seeking simplicity, clarity, and the quiet strength that comes from trusting in God’s providence.

  • There's Plenty of Room on the Lampstand
    2026/02/05

Jesus calls us the salt of the earth and the light of the world — words meant to affirm our goodness and invite us to shine. But what if shining doesn’t come easily, or doesn’t feel safe for everyone? In this episode, we reflect on salt and light as a shared, communal calling, and on our responsibility to recognize, protect, and uplift the light in one another.

  • Spiritually Exhausted? Finding God in Overwhelming Times
    2026/01/29

Many of us are feeling spiritually worn down. The world feels heavy, the news is relentless, and even prayer can feel distracted, dry, or out of reach. In this reflection on the Sunday readings, we sit honestly with that exhaustion and return to a simple but challenging invitation from Scripture: Seek God.

What does it mean to seek God when our bandwidth is low and discouragement runs high? Drawing on the Prophet Zephaniah and Jesus’ Beatitudes, this episode explores how seeking God is not only about prayer, but also about justice, humility, mercy, and peacemaking. We reflect on how God is found not just in quiet moments of consolation, but in courageous acts of love, resistance to injustice, and deep solidarity with others.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, discouraged, or unsure how to keep going, this reflection offers gentle reassurance: God wants to be found—and is already present in our striving, our rest, and our shared hope.

  • United in Heart, Not Always in Mind
    2026/01/22

In a time when division feels louder than ever, this reflection asks whether unity is really about thinking alike — or about choosing love, listening, and shared purpose. Drawing from Scripture, community life, and the realities of our political moment, we'll reflect together on what it means to belong to Christ — and to each other. A thoughtful conversation about disagreement, courage, and the hard, holy work of belonging to one another.
