You can leave a church service knowing more about the Holy Spirit than you've ever known in your life… and not be one inch closer to Him.

For three weeks we talked about the Holy Spirit—who He is, what He does, what He gives. This message is different. It's about being with Him.

Many Christians love God, love Jesus, and are on their way to heaven, but have never truly experienced the Holy Spirit. Often that's not a Bible problem—it's that our view of Him is built on one strange experience we had, or one we saw on TV. So He gets a bad rap, and we keep our distance.

In this message from our Holy Spirit series, Brad goes back to the actual words Scripture uses—Rûwach in Hebrew, Pneuma in Greek—and both carry the same picture: wind, breath, a blast of air. From the second verse of the Bible, the Spirit of God is the breath of God hovering over the waters.

Using four things we already understand about wind, Brad shows how to relate to the person of the Holy Spirit:

🌬️ Wind is UNSEEN — you may not see Him, but you can feel Him.
🌬️ Wind is UNPREDICTABLE — He won't be tucked into our systems; worship Him, not the method.
🌬️ Wind is POWERFUL — He brings power for the things human strength can't fix.
🌬️ Wind is REFRESHING — He wants to breathe fresh air back into your marriage, your job, and your walk with God.

If your faith feels stale—everything's "fine," but nothing feels alive—this is an invitation to take a deep breath and receive Him. Let go of your fears and misperceptions, go all in, and develop a real friendship with the Holy Spirit. God the Father loves you. God the Son saves you. God the Spirit is with you.
