The best way to be a voice for God is to be the preacher God created you to be. Find your style and be yourself. That is what I want to help you do.

As preachers of the Bible, we must never forget that the Bible is our final authority for all matters of faith and practice. We are not to preach our opinions or the opinions of others, echo the flawed teaching of other men, or allow our church traditions to assume a place more important than the Bible.

To understand this better, we need to examine the doctrine of Sola Scriptura. Sola Scriptura teaches that the Bible is the only authority we have. The Bible rules our preaching, living, and every aspect of the church.

In this episode, we will discuss Some Tips for Effective Preaching. We all want our preaching to be better, and it can be. If we put in the effort God will bless our preaching for his glory. I will deal with the points listed below. I pray this episode will be a help to you in your preaching ministry.

Study the Word
Memorize scripture
* God’s Word will not return to Him void (Isaiah 55:10-11).
* The Word is sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).
* God watches over and hastens His Word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12).
* He honors His Word above His name (Psalm 138:2).
* God’s Word is sent out through us to bring healing and deliverance into the lives of His people (Psalms 107:20).
* God anoints His Word and through it breaks every yoke of bondage (Isaiah 10:27 ).
* God promises the Holy Spirit will “bring all things to your remembrance whatsoever He has said unto us” (John 14:26). We must, however, put in the time and effort to know what God’s Word says.

Depend upon the Lord
Have an experience with the cross
Have a sound support system
Use your voice well
Be informative
Preach sound doctrine
Reading
Exhortation
Get to the point

If God has called you to preach the Word of God, don’t quit! He will prosper your work and ministry in due season.

What is the most important tool the preacher has? What will give him more power with people, a more significant listenership, greater respect and standing among the congregation, shelter him when the enemies of truth attack him and help him maintain all the relationships in his life with grace?
