Welcome to Veil of Humanity where we explore the thin line between conscience, fragility, and accountability! This is Courtney I am a producer and editor on the podcast veil of humanity.
Today (as of this recording) marks the 31st anniversary of one of the deadliest acts of domestic terrorism in United States history—the Oklahoma City bombing. On April 19th, 1995, at 9:02 a.m., a rented Ryder truck packed with explosives detonated outside the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City. In a matter of seconds, 168 people were killed, including 19 children. Hundreds more were injured. An entire community—and a nation—was left in shock. This is the story of what led up to that day, the lives that were lost, and the men responsible.
