  • 58. Holiday Traditions That Anchor Us + How to Let Them Evolve
    2025/12/24

As this episode airs on Christmas Eve, we wanted to pause and reflect on this season, and on the fact that this podcast has now been part of our lives for over TWO years (truly incredible)!

In today’s episode, we’re talking about holiday traditions - why they matter, why they stick with us, and why it’s also okay for them to change and evolve.

We share some of our favorite traditions we grew up with, the ones we’ve carried forward, and the new ones we’re still figuring out in our own families.

Honestly, traditions don’t need to be elaborate or exhausting to be meaningful. Some of the most memorable moments come from slowing down, staying home, and prioritizing connection over busyness!

Ultimately, our hope is that this time feels less pressured and more intentional. After all, the true reason for Christmas and this beautiful season is Jesus!

    Episode Recap:

    • Our reflections on over two years of the podcast
    • Why holiday traditions matter
    • Why traditions can (and should) evolve with your season of life
    • Our favorite meaningful family traditions that prioritize connection, simplicity & time together.
    • Releasing traditions that feel exhausting or pressure-filled + keeping what truly fills your cup
    • Why it’s vital to check in with your body & honor what YOU need during the holidays
    • Reflection questions to help you this holiday season

  • 57. Simple Mindfulness Tools for the Holiday Season + Everyday Life
    2025/12/10

The holiday season can feel like a LOT.

Between overstimulation, full schedules, travel, chronic illness flares, and more, our bodies pick up far more than we realize.

In today’s episode, we wanted to slow things down and talk about mindfulness. And no…not the “fluffy, clear your mind and float away” kind of mindfulness. More like the REAL, usable version that can help you come back home to yourself whenever you need to!

As clinicians who spend hours holding space for people in hard moments, having a daily “reset” ritual isn’t optional for us - it’s necessary.

Mindfulness is not about fixing - it’s about witnessing. Mindfulness becomes powerful when it becomes woven into your everyday life (not another task added to your neverending to-do list).

We hope you choose presence, curiosity, and give your nervous system a chance to BREATHE during one of the busiest seasons of the year!!

    Episode Recap:

    • Why mindfulness is NOT just “clearing your mind”
    • Start with your body first (not your mind)
    • Using micro-moments throughout your day instead of long mindfulness sessions
    • Labeling sensations & emotions with neutral, non-judgmental language.
    • Focusing on witnessing your experience instead of “fixing” or forcing calm
    • Using all 5 of your senses as anchors to stay present
    • Practicing self-compassion every time your mind wanders
    • Attaching mindfulness to daily habits so it becomes automatic AND sustainable
    • Learning to use your breath like a dial (instead of a hammer)
    • Asking yourself, “What is happening in my body right now?

  • 56. Your Body Isn’t Betraying You: A Thanksgiving Gratitude Reset
    2025/11/26

In today’s episode, we’re leaning into gratitude…but not the “fluffy”, toxic-positivity version that may come to mind.

With Thanksgiving around the corner, it felt like the perfect time to explore gratitude as a powerful lens that shapes how we experience our health, our healing, and our bodies!

Gratitude isn’t about pretending things are “fine”. It’s about acknowledging what is good, steady, AND improving, even when the hard stuff is happening right alongside it.

Your body gives you sooo much to appreciate, even on the days it feels like it’s working against you. Even symptoms (as frustrating as they are) are your body signaling, not betraying you.

Gratitude calms the system, and a calm system can finally HEAL.

If you’re walking through a pelvic health journey (or any healing journey), remember - it doesn’t have to be only about “fixing”. Healing becomes more possible when we can honor how the body is supporting us along the way!

    Episode Recap:

    • What gratitude truly is + why noticing what’s good, steady & improving matters
    • How gratitude supports the body + calms the nervous system
    • Why your body isn’t betraying you, but adapting and signaling
    • Simple gratitude tools & journal prompts you can use today
    • Getting curious about resistance or emotions that surface
