- The Path: Hardened by pride, disappointment, and repeated sin; God’s message cannot enter.
- Rocky Ground: Shallow hearts where faith sprouts quickly but lacks depth, easily giving in to suffering.
- Thorns: Crowded hearts distracted by worries, riches, and worldly desires, hiding discouragement.
- Good Soil: A heart surrendered to God’s will. Gratitude guards this soil, producing lasting virtues, peace, and joy.
Ultimately, we choose our soil. Where gratitude guards the heart, discouragement loses, and God’s word bears lasting fruit.
