  • 14-Team PPR Mock Draft: Where the RB Cliff Actually Hits | Mock Draft Monday
    2026/07/20

Nate Polvogt and Mike Vadala run a full 14-team, 1QB PPR mock draft and break down why two extra teams reshape the entire board.

Deeper leagues punish the same habits that work fine in 12-team rooms. The crew walks through where the RB tier genuinely breaks, whether waiting on QB still holds up in 1QB scoring, when the TE run has to start with Trey McBride and Brock Bowers going early, and how to handle the crowded mid-round WR pocket. They also spend time on the back half of the draft, because in a 14-team league your last few picks are your waiver wire.

Topics covered in this episode: 14-team scarcity and early-round strategy, the running back cliff, quarterback timing in 1QB formats, tight end tier breaks, mid-round WR clusters, late-round fliers for deep leagues, and pick-by-pick reasoning from both hosts.

  • Building a Dynasty From Scratch: 12-Team 2QB PPR Startup ft. Lou Brunson | Mock Draft Monday
    2026/07/13

Nate Polvogt and Mike Vadala are joined by Lou Brunson, Senior Analyst at Optimus Fantasy, for a 12-team, 10-round 2QB PPR dynasty startup mock draft.

2QB is the most unforgiving format in fantasy football. Twelve teams need 24 starting quarterbacks out of a league that only has 32, and the panic starts on the very first pick. Josh Allen has held the 1.01 throne in dynasty startups all offseason, but Drake Maye is climbing hard, Jayden Daniels is sliding into value territory, and the age question on Lamar Jackson is finally getting loud. Nate, Mike, and Lou break down whether you anchor your QB room early or dare to let the run happen without you.

The other half of the fight is what you give up to do it. Bijan Robinson, Jahmyr Gibbs, Ja'Marr Chase, Puka Nacua, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba are all sitting there while the QB board burns, and in a 10-round startup there is no bench to hide a mistake. The crew works through the second QB tier where Caleb Williams, Joe Burrow, and Jaxson Dart live, when Brock Bowers and Trey McBride are worth the TE premium of a startup pick, and where the youth movement of Jeremiyah Love, Carnell Tate, and Emeka Egbuka fits into a roster you have to live with for a decade.

Every pick comes with the reasoning behind it, so you can take the logic straight into your own 2QB or Superflex startup.

Topics covered in this episode: whether Josh Allen is still the correct 1.01 in a 2QB startup, how early the QB run really begins with 24 starting spots to fill, anchor QB vs waiting on the position, what the elite RB and WR tiers cost you in QB opportunity, the second QB tier and where the cliff actually is, the TE decision in a dynasty startup, youth vs win-now roster construction, and Lou's biggest takeaways from the board.

  • Is Bijan Still the Clear 1.01? 12-Team PPR Mock | Mock Draft Monday
    2026/07/06

Nate Polvogt and Mike Vadala are joined by Sam Schneider, managing editor at PlayerProfiler, for a 10-round, 12-team, 1-QB PPR mock draft.

The top of the board is still an RB story, with Bijan Robinson and Jahmyr Gibbs anchoring the first three picks, but the WR-first crowd has a real case with Puka Nacua and Ja'Marr Chase pushing into 1.01 territory. Sam brings the PlayerProfiler lens to every pick, and on this episode the crew walks through how the first round actually breaks when you are on the clock instead of working off a static rankings page.

From there it gets into the decisions that decide your season: when Christian McCaffrey and the second tier of backs come off the board, whether James Cook, Omarion Hampton, and Ashton Jeanty are worth the mid-first reach, and how long you can wait on QB in a 1-QB build with Josh Allen and Joe Burrow sliding. Sam and the guys also dig into the Trey McBride and Brock Bowers TE question, plus the WR values in the middle rounds that quietly win leagues.

Topics covered in this episode: how the first round broke pick by pick, RB-heavy vs WR-heavy builds off each draft slot, when to take your first QB in a 1-QB format, the McBride vs Bowers TE decision, mid-round RB and WR values worth targeting, late-round sleepers with league-winning upside, and the PlayerProfiler metrics Sam leans on to find edges.

  • Can You Solve Video Game Scoring? #SFB16 Mock Draft | Mock Draft Monday
    2026/06/29

Nate Polvogt and special guest host Dave Stewart break down a full Scott Fish Bowl 16 mock draft on this episode of Mock Draft Monday.

SFB16 returns to its video game theme, and the scoring rewards everything explosive: six points for every TD, half a point per reception and per first down, a TE premium that adds a point on both, and a stack of big-play bonuses for 300 and 400 yard passing games, 100 and 200 yard rushing and receiving days, and long plays of 40-plus and 20-plus yards. Rosters run 10 starters and 10 bench, up to two QB, no kickers, and a deep flex.

Nate and Dave work through how that scoring reshapes a draft board. Dual-threat QBs who stack passing yardage and rushing upside carry premium value, the TE premium pulls elite tight ends up the board, and big-play WRs and pass-catching RBs turn into every-week bonus threats. They cover where to take your first QB, when the TE premium is worth reaching for, and how to weigh floor against ceiling when one long play can decide a matchup.

Topics covered in this episode: SFB16 video game scoring explained, how the TE premium changes tier rankings, drafting dual-threat QB early, chasing big-play and yardage bonuses, building a balanced 10-man starting lineup, and picks you can take straight into your own draft.

    2026/06/26

Cam White and Mike Vadala give first-time dynasty managers a complete starting point for a successful debut season. They share the mistakes they made in their own first leagues, then break down the redraft-to-dynasty mindset shift, how to value players by age, contract and positional lifespan, and why RBs fade fastest while WRs and QBs hold longest.

The second half covers getting into the right league and prepping for your startup: vetting leaguemates, spotting collusion, choosing a format, orphan team etiquette, and locking down scoring, rosters, taxi squads, IR and IDP/TEP/SFLX values before you draft.

  • From The Dark Knight to SFB16: Michael Stoyanov Joins Our Scott Fish Bowl Mock | Mock Draft Monday
    2026/06/08

Nate Polvogt and Mike Vadala are joined by a special guest on this Mock Draft Monday - actor and writer Michael Stoyanov (Blossom, The Dark Knight) - for another Scott Fish Bowl 16 mock. Michael isn't a tourist here: he's a multi-year SFB veteran, and he came to draft.

SFB16's video-game scoring flips the board upside down. With ten flexible starting spots (two superflex, eight flex), positional value goes out the window, and you draft straight off projections. The crew digs into how the TE premium - bonus points per reception and per first down - keeps pushing tight ends like Brock Bowers and Trey McBride up the board, and how the two-superflex math shapes when you reach for quarterbacks like Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Jayden Daniels.

Nate, Mike, and Michael walk through their picks slot by slot, trade strategies for standing out in the largest fantasy draft in the world, and Michael shares what he's learned from years inside the Fish Bowl - including where the rushing and receiving bonuses make players like Bijan Robinson and Ja'Marr Chase even bigger weapons than usual.

Topics covered in this episode: how SFB16's scoring works, why the TE premium reshapes the early rounds, navigating two superflex spots at quarterback, where the bonuses create hidden value, and Michael Stoyanov's veteran approach to surviving the Fish Bowl.
