概要

 In the autumn of 2019, Luna drives a back road in rural Missouri to visit a friend she hasn't seen in years. But the route takes her past an abandoned roadside shrine dedicated to St. Dismas, the Good Thief. A local legend says that if you leave something valuable at the shrine at dusk, you'll receive a gift in return by dawn. Luna's friend, a skeptical journalist named Mark, decided to test the legend. He left his wedding ring. The next morning, the ring was gone, and in its place was a single bullet. Luna arrives to find Mark hollow-eyed and unable to explain why he feels watched. Together they trace the shrine's history back to a Depression-era highwayman who was executed for a murder he may not have committed. The closer they get to the truth, the more Luna realizes the shrine doesn't just take offerings—it takes something from the giver. A slow-burn story about faith, debt, and the things we leave behind.
