  • Medicine Song: Rhythm of Life
    2025/02/05

Embarking on a 10-day dieta with Noya Rao, the "Tree of Light," of the Amazon jungle, was a profound journey into the depths of my being. Known for its luminescent leaves that glow in the darkness, Noya Rao symbolizes illumination and truth. Throughout the dieta, I experienced a profound challenges, confronting and releasing deep-seated emotional blockages of betrayal, lonliness, and abandonment. The spirit of Noya Rao guided me to face my inner shadows, illuminating aspects of myself that had long been hidden. This journey took me to my depths and took me to my heights as I navigated the delicate balance between light and darkness within. In moments of deep introspection, I felt a profound connection to the rhythms of life, understanding that light and darkness are not opposing forces but complementary aspects of existence. This realization inspired a creative outpouring, leading to this composition of lyrics & a melody that captured the dance between these dualities. This communion with Noya Rao revealed that embracing both the light and the dark, gratitude, and grief within myself is essential for true healing. There is sacredness in the darkness. This too, dear one, this too. Sending you blessings on your journey with this Icaro, medicine song, gifted to me by Noya Rao, the tree of light✨️💫 Gracias, Gracias Noya Rao, I'm forever grateful for your teachings and wisdom. Love, Colleen
