Safety Talks. Ladder fall incident. Here I discuss a recent accident that occurred to me. It was a fall and injury caused by a series of unsafe actions. I was in a hurry, stressed, with too many activities scheduled for one day, and under the influence of caffeine and sugar. I took several unsafe decisions, including the unsafe practices during elevated work, standing on furniture, using a ladder on a slippery floor, and using a ladder in an unsafe manner. These bad decisions resulted in the ladder slipping from the wall, on the slippery floor, and I fell with the ladder and hit the ground hurting my back, neck and buttocks. The New Period Chat Radio presents: The Case Of Jack and Lily Sullivan. Here, I present the recent and mysterious case of the disappearance of Lily and Jack Sullivan. Here, I dispel the flood of misinformation and focus on the facts. The siblings of 4 and 6 years of age have reportedly been missing since the morning of May 2, 2025. Their mother reports that she was in her room when the kids disappeared from their home. She claimed she head them in a room playing that morning, then it went quiet. The kid’s stepfather has similar story but their timelines initially were slightly off. The kid’s biological father has been estranged from them since they were infants apparently due to their separation and custody agreements. The kid’s step grand-mother lives in a separate RV home just feet from the kid’s home in Rural Nova Scotia. She reports to have heard the kids that morning but did not get up to see them. The police was notified at 10 am that morning and the investigation and search began shortly after. The search was vast and involved many people and technologies. The search did not yield significant findings other than a boot print 1 kilometer from the home, and a piece of blanket near the kid’s home. The police have not established the relevance of these findings in relation to the case. Since the kid’s disappearance the mother, Malehia Brooks-Murray, has left the house.
