Jamey Carney, a 43-year-old American mother from Armonk, New York, had built a new life in Killarney, Ireland with her young daughter. On July 7th, a family member found her dead in her home. A post-mortem confirmed she had been suffocated after an assault. The man the Gardaí most want to speak with was already gone — on a bus to Dublin, then a flight to the Middle East — before her body was even discovered.
