概要

 A summer night in 2009, outside the town of Hoxley, Kansas. A boy named Caleb runs away from home and hides under the Vermillion Bridge. He hears a sound like a woman humming, then a wet rustling he cannot name. Thirty years earlier, another boy hid in that same culvert and later drew pictures of a bird with a human face — pictures that still hang in a diner booth. A local woman remembers that old drawing and what she saw the night her brother disappeared. Luna walks the creek bed at dusk, Polaroid in hand, trying to capture something that keeps moving just out of frame. No neat ending. Just the sound of salt cracking underfoot and the feeling that something is still waiting under the bridge.
