On this week's episode we talk to the legendary Emmy-nominated composer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Tim Lauer. A true secret weapon of the industry, Tim has worked on hundreds of major label albums across every genre imaginable. He has worked with artists from Taylor Swift and Dolly Parton to Megadeth and the Smashing Pumpkins. His TV credits include serving as the Executive Music Producer for the hit show Nashville, as well as on shows like Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist and Greenleaf where he wrote and performed the show's main theme song with vocals from legendary singer Mavis Staples. Currently, Tim is releasing music with his own band Bien and is the Executive Music Producer Amazon Prime Video series Rose Hill releasing later this year.

Our guest this week is songwriter and musician John Garrison. First finding fame as the frontman of acclaimed rock band Budapest, John has become one of the world's premier session musicians working with artist from Benson Boone and Christina Aguilera to Lewis Capaldi and Robbie Williams. Most notably, John as worked with James Blunt for the last 19 years as his bassist. Currently, John is preparing to release his song 'Remembrance' under the project Satellites on 28th August.
