This week's guest is the legendary founder of electroclash disrupters Chicks on Speed, Alex Murray-Leslie. Founding the group in 1997, they bridged the gap between the Dadaist art philosophy and synth-punk tonalities. Since then, they have gone on to collaborate with everyone from Yoko Ono to Karl Largerfeld and, in 2003, released their era defining anthem 'We Don't Play Guitars' featuring Peaches. Currently, Alex is a Professor of Digital Performance and is an artistic researcher, pioneering research into 'objektinstruments'- interactive wearable musical technology that turns fashion and the human body into live synthesisers.
