After a tragic ski accident took the life of Kelli's 5 year old daughter, she was left with a traumatic brain injury. Kelli opens up to us about, not only the physical process but also, the emotional grief of becoming herself again and the grief of losing a child. Going from a gifted athlete on her way to nursing school, Kelli has had to relearn all the basic functions from how to feed herself to how to put on a pair of earrings. Her resilience and determination are so impressive. Kelli has chosen to find happiness in the journey. Kelli and her husband, Chauncy, started The Snow Angel Foundation and the Ride Another Day campaign to promote awareness around safe skiing.

It's been the best of times, It's been the worst of times...

It has been 1 whole year since my last episode. My very best good friend Teri is interviewing ME! She said she was not going to let any more "excuses" get in the way of me recording.

We talk all things, how our friendship started, the good bad and the ugly of my last year and a half and what would make for good future episodes. We chat a little about me feeling like a fraud as I have been navigating my own midlife chaos but, isn't that what this whole podcast is about??? We even have a guest appearance from Colton!!!

I did cut things off at the end but will probably make that another episode.
