S4E3: House Lovell has survived spring, but summer in Ilrhen brings a different kind of heat.
After Jasper and Nadia flee the city, the coterie has technically earned a little time off.

But in Court of Blades, there is no such thing as a clean break. Beux-Li’s loose-lipped confession to Lucky becomes a dangerous loose end, Ajax takes the phrase “problem solver” to a terrifying new level, and Jeremiah’s relaxing summer day quickly turns into the first confirmed kill of the campaign.

Meanwhile, Ariadne investigates House Battaglia’s sudden rise and its strange fallout with the Mercies, while her growing connection with Vera opens the door to new information about Lady Aela, Octavia, and the Sevenfold Veils. The deeper the group digs, the more it becomes clear that dark magic, noble politics, and old loyalties are all tangled together.

By the end of the episode, Ajax and Beux-Li infiltrate the Battaglia estate, Jeremiah and Ariadne confront Vincenzo, and the coterie uncovers evidence that could change everything. But with DeRosie’s own mysterious past now in question, House Lovell may have more secrets around them than they realized.
