Precision is everything, from mastering the perfect sear to impeccable knife skills, she approaches cooking with the focus of an artisan and the high octane energy of a dinner rush line lead. She doesn't just make food; she builds flavors from the ground up with technique and discipline. When you ask Lisa what her favourite thing to cook is, her answer is always, "Something new."

Lisa's also in charge of karaoke and there are nights when the lodge is alive as everyone sings like no one is watching - when everyone is!

He's a man that needs no introduction.....this one's all about Adam!

Sharon is a retired 30 year police veteran and a 47 year runner, with no plans to retire from marathons anytime soon. While she and her husband, John, escape to Eagle Lake Island Lodge every year, things get a little more “interesting” when they hit the road for marathons. Sharon joins us to share the hilarity of their travels and the secret to a long marriage, which apparently involves avoiding John the night before a race!

Leroy Mengel is no stranger to The Lodge, he's visited for years and is proof that age is just a number. Listen to just a few of his stories as he joins Laura and Charlene out on the new portion of the outdoor dining area, so you'll hear the ambient sounds of the happenings of the lodge. Listening to Leroy talk, you'd never guess he's 94 years old.

Cody Tucker returns to the island each summer for an annual Muskie hunt with her dad, a welcome break from a high pressure career. As the Business Manager for space missions at a science philanthropy, Cody is the central hub for operations. Every contract and invoice, every part of the mission goes through her. So, you can see why she would need this refreshing break to regroup.

We chatted on the new dining patio extension on a beautiful evening, the calls of loons drifting across the water, (sometimes they were real loons, and other times, Charlene’s ringtone). In the background, a fire crackled as guests settled in for an evening of storytelling and taking in the scenic views.
