If God’s mercy has reached us through Jesus Christ, then our only reasonable response is surrender, transformation, and a life no longer shaped by the world.

What is worship? Worship can mean a lot of things to people. In our modern day society, we make worship out to be whatever feels good or what sounds right. Yet the Bible gives us a clear picutre of what worship is and whom it should be for.

What is the role and the doctrine of the church? Scripture clearly defines this and yet we have decided as a modern culture what defines the church. Our definition of church can stand in rebellion to scripture. So what do we do? We go back to what God’s Word has to say about the church and then we obey.

This week, I continue our series “Doctrines that Disciple” but looking at a question in the Bible that requires an answer. There is a question that sounds simple until it reaches your soul. We look forward to seeing you this Sunday.

We come to a table that is simple in appearance but weighty in meaning. Bread will point us to a body given. A cup will point us to bloodshed. And before we take either, Scripture calls us to slow down, remember, and examine our hearts.

Today, we continue “Doctrines that Disciple.” Before Bethlehem, He already was. Before creation, He already reigned. Before man ever reached for God, God was already moving toward man.

It is a moment where heaven opens, God reveals Himself, and we are reminded that He is far greater than anything we could ever fully explain.
