In this episode, I interviewed Jenifer Ortiz, a trauma counselor and missionary, who shares her journey from aspiring pediatrician to trauma counseling and mission work in Southeast Asia. We discuss the importance of faith in overcoming personal struggles, the challenges of cultural sensitivity while spreading the gospel, and the significance of self-care and personal growth.
Jenifer emphasizes the need for women to embrace their identity and purpose while waiting for their kingdom marriage, and the importance of healing before entering into relationships. The conversation highlights the intersection of entrepreneurship, spirituality, and social impact, encouraging listeners to step out of their comfort zones and pursue their calling.

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿If you are new here, I am Shibivia; a full-time business owner and entrepreneur, my husband is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist. I walked away from my recent career as a Flight Attendant back in 2022 to pursue full-time entrepreneurship to have more time-freedom and peace of mind. I recently completed 6 years of military service in the United States Air Force Reserves. Shortly after leaving my Flight Attendant job in 2022, my husband and I took a month long sabbatical and traveled to Bali, Indonesia then Bangkok Thailand and simply fell in love. It was one of the most therapeutic experiences of my life. After visiting almost 30 countries, South East Asia definitely felt like home, and today - we get to call Thailand home.
