  • Episode 10 - Toxicity in the Leg' escalates, Kinew's halfway point scorecard, Bill 48 tramples on Manitobans' rights

    Part 1 - As Premier Kinew gaslights, deflects and bullies the Opposition, protestors and the press, the Leg' continues to get more toxic.

    Part 2 - At the halfway point of the the Kinew government's term, healthcare, shelter, transportation, cost-of-living and other aspects of Manitobans' lives have not improved, and are now arguably worse. Mark examines the promises made and why Kinew can't seem to keep them.

    Part 3 - Bill 48 - an expansion of the Intoxicated Persons Act - treats people that have not been charged with a crime worse than if they had been. Mark explains how Kinew's latest bill strips Manitobans of their legal rights.

    Part 3 - As Premier Kinew continues to try bully and intimidate reporters, his government has made a cozy deal with the Winnipeg Free Press. It's a win-win for them, but what about the rest of Manitoba?

    Part 1 - As the Manitoba government enters an agreement with the Winnipeg Free Press, Mark looks at its effects on journalistic integrity and on our education system

    Part 2 - Manitoba's affordability crisis has been exacerbated by the Kinew government's flip-flops on housing, grocery prices, and income tax "bracket creep"

    Part 3 - Kinew's $32M/year signature environmental plan to convert 5000 homes to geothermal has become another broken promise after 2 years and zero investment. Instead of committing to net-zero emissions by 2050 as promised, Kinew borrowed $340M for his gas tax holiday, leaving Manitoba as one of the only two provinces with rising greenhouse gas emissions.
