God gave believers the ability to pray in tongues to solve a unique spiritual problem. When Adam and Eve sinned, they experienced spiritual death - separation from God - and handed earthly authority to Satan. When we're born again, our spirit is renewed but our body remains unredeemed, creating a disconnect. Our soul, which connects spirit and body, needs renewal through revelation knowledge. Praying in tongues allows our born-again spirit to bypass our unrenewed soul and speak directly into the natural realm. This spiritual language, combined with God's Word planted in our minds, releases revelation that renews our thinking and transforms our lives.
