  • Healing journey is self Reflective
    2026/01/10
From a Sufi perspective, self-discovery, healing, and even bodily illness are not separate domains. They are threads of the same journey back to Truth (al-Ḥaqq).
✨ Self-discovery is not “finding a better identity”
It is peeling away what trauma taught you to become.
The self is seen in layers:
    Nafs al-Ammārah (commanding ego)
    – survival, fear, desire, control
    – hypervigilance, anxiety, attachment wounds
    Nafs al-Lawwāmah (self-aware self)
    – guilt, self-reflection, inner conflict
    – psychosomatic tension, fatigue, inflammation
    Nafs al-Muṭmaʾinnah (tranquil self)
    – surrender, trust (tawakkul), safety
    nervous system regulation, healing capacity

  • Pre conceptual nutrition
    2025/12/18
Pre-conceptional nutrition refers to the nutritional status and dietary practices of a woman (and man) before conception. Adequate intake of energy, proteins, vitamins, and minerals—especially folic acid, iron, iodine, calcium, zinc, and vitamin B12—is essential to prepare the body for a healthy pregnancy. Good nutrition before conception helps prevent anemia, neural tube defects, low birth weight, and congenital abnormalities. Maintaining a healthy body weight, correcting nutrient deficiencies, avoiding junk food, alcohol, and smoking, and adopting balanced eating habits improve fertility, support early fetal development, and ensure better maternal and child health outcomes.
