このコンテンツについて
In today's episode, Jody and Liz share different experiences about the purpose of our human hearts-- to transform pain into love.
Questions to Ponder
1. Do you hold onto painful experiences for longer than you should?
2. Do you experience vulnerability?
3. With whom do you feel comfortable opening your heart to? Why? When?
We have different pain points in our lives and in our relationships and Liz felt inspired to bring something into awareness or “home” so to speak, so that it ties things together.
This episode is based on a teaching from Sara Wiseman, Lesson 31 of the 33 lessons, in a book called Writing the Divine. The heart is meant to transform pain into love. So how do we do that? Why do we do that?
- The heart is not meant to HOLD onto the pain (stagnant)
- The heart is transformative naturally just as birds fly naturally, the heart transforms pain into love naturally.
- There is a process though.
- Open heart to feel the pain
- Open your heart to compassion, see that everyone feels pain and in this we are connected and “one”
- As you open to compassion, ask that the pain be lifted up by grace and transformed into love (the highest vibration)
- Liz also adds to ask grace to assist with forgiveness as well. That if you do not know how to forgive a person, situation, or pain–that it be lifted up and transformed into forgiveness.
