My name is Lisa Rung, now in the 60+ age range, former dancer, ice skater, triathlete, runner but I found myself overweight, unmotivated and struggling to get back in shape in the last five years.  I also had broken my shoulder in a bike fall in 2020.  I was lucky enough to be introduced to World Groove Movement and Body Groove in 2021, which I had never heard of before.  It was not love at first try but I sensed an opportunity to reconnect with my physical self.  Not only was it great way to work out but also very affirming on so many levels. I finally was able to dance without those old voices of not being good enough.  I also love that Groove welcomes people of all sizes, shapes, races, genders, etc.  After just a a few brief months, I jumped into the Facilitator training so I could share it with others and have been teaching ever since.  

Discovering World Groove and Body Groove sparked my curiosity about what other wonderful dance-based exercise there might be that most people have not heard about.  Join me on this journey as we explore the myriad of options, investigate how adaptable and accepting each style is for the range of people in the world,  Hit subscribe and listen to the podcast that will help you find something you love!
