Data centres in space are indeed a sustainability topic with some big investment numbers attached to it. So how does the digital economy scale within physical limits? Sustainability is the discipline of living within limits while expanding human capability. Orbital compute is one attempt to expand the boundary conditions. That attempt will succeed in some form, even if the early timelines prove ambitious, because the incentives are enormous and the engineering problems are solvable with enough capital and iteration.
