This week, we visited with our friends from Alpine Creek Lodge on the Denali Highway. Claude and Bob Bondy share stories of hunts they’ve had over the years as well and tell the history of the lodge and how they built it to what it is today. Bob also shares his story of a hunt where he killed the #24 Boone and Crockett Record Grizzly Bear.

In this week’s episode, Dalton returns from Brown Bear camp and he and Mo go over the now viral incident involving Aaron Snyder and how he dispatched a wounded coyote a few years back.

This week we talk with Rob Morris of Morris Custom Hides. Rob owns and operates a tannery here in the Fairbanks area and we have enjoyed his handy work for a few years now. In this episode Rob goes through the basics of tanning hides and also hits on several key points concerning hide care in the field and what to have done before you take it to a tannery.
