概要
Part I: Prevention, Genetics & Regenerative Health
What if the future of medicine isn’t choosing between Eastern and Western approaches—but understanding how they work together?
In Part 1 of this two-part conversation, I sit down with Dr. Yi Song, a physician from a family deeply rooted in both Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine. After studying at Brown University and conducting PhD research on aging and cancer, she shifted her focus toward the Chinese medicine philosophy of prevention and balance. In 2018, she founded the Zenerchi Retreat in Medellín, Colombia, dedicated to regenerative health and longevity.
Together, we explore how ancient medical frameworks and modern technologies—from genetics to red light therapy—can work in harmony to help the body repair, rebalance, and function optimally.
In this episode, we discuss:
What regenerative health really means
How Chinese and Western medicine complement each other
The science behind red light therapy
How genetics and personalized medicine are shaping the future of care
Why prevention is foundational to long-term health
In Part 2, we go deeper into one of the most fascinating (and controversial) frontiers in regenerative medicine: stem cells.
